Google Hire Brings Collaboration Features of G Suite to the Recruiting Process
In May of this year Google for Jobs was released, which connects job seekers with listings from traditional job boards, such as Monster and LinkedIn. Google recently announced the launch and availability of Google Hire, a dedicated applicant tracking system designed for use by G Suite customers. Hire syncs seamlessly with Gmail and Google Calendar, so you can continue using familiar tools and capture all your recruiting activity in one place.
Google previously offered up some innovative ways to use the existing G Suite tools in the hiring process (which is still a great setup for those not wanting to make the leap), but Google Hire provides G Suite customers with a more functional and purpose-built application that leverage native functionality and integration with G Suite.
Some key points of integration include:
- All communication with candidates, in Gmail or the Hire application, sync with each other for full visibility.
- When scheduling interviews in Hire, you have access to the interviewer’s Calendar and it automatically includes important details like contact information, interview schedule, and other information from Hire, within the Calendar invite.
- Easily track candidate pipeline in Hire, and leverage Sheets to further analyze and visualize the data.
As Google Hire launch partner, Dito is excited to offer this application to our customers.
