Google Apps Premier Edition extends 99.9% SLA to Calendar, Docs, Sites, & Talk

Today Google announced the extension of their 99.9% up-time guarantee to encompass all of Google Apps Premier Edition.  In addition to Gmail, which was already included, Calender, Docs, Sites, & Talk will now all enjoy the same guarantee.

Also included in the announcement is a great analysis of Google Apps up-time vs.  Exchange, Lotus Notes, & GroupWise.

DC Government goes into the Cloud with Google Apps

Washington DC government recently decided to use Google Apps for their 38,000+ employees for email, document collaboration, intranet, and calendars. The video above gives a nice overview of the value that Google Apps has added to their infrastructure.
